Optimistic Hearts of America

“By being still, inviting other hearts to connect with yours…you are awakening your connection with everyone, everything and every time. One of the most difficult challenges in connecting heart to heart is accepting the fact that such a connection, like prayer, is not something you do but how you are” (Paul Pearsall, PhD., author of The Heart’s Code).

“The Optimistic Heart is effortlessly drawn to the beauty of life.”

It began with my father’s passing….

A decade ago, during Memorial Day weekend, I received the unexpected news that my father has passed away due to complications from a heart attack. He was a 65 years of age, always reaching out with a smile and offering his time and talents in an effort to make a difference in the world.

For more than 18 years, I have been an involved professional in the health and wellness field, but my father’s passing left me with a desire to understand more about his passing, stress and its effects, and heart disease overall.  I started asking questions and gained a new curiosity about my own life and my work, as well. I was situated in the early stages of a midlife crossroad asking the perennial question–”Who Am I?” and “What does all of this mean?” all while dealing with my own stress and grieving my father’s passing.

I felt I was experiencing an “unraveling of my life.”

From the loss of my father, seeming midlife confusion, and the quest for more awareness about stress and how it impacts our health, a great Campaign is born!

I firmly believe that Optimism is a ‘hidden asset’ and research showing the health benefits related to optimism support my mission.  This is a message worthy of every ear willing to listen…

Optimism can not only ‘change lives,’ it can also SAVE LIVES!  Pessimism is related to our negative thoughts and when those thoughts replay over and over in our minds it has a direct impact on our ‘way of being’ and creates stress in the body.  We can literally reduce the risk of death from heart disease and other chronic illnesses by finding a new perspective of Optimism!  Just as pessimism is learned, we are reminded that Optimism can be learned, as well.  The question is whether or not we choose to re-construct our thoughts and shift from attaching to thoughts of pessimism and allowing space for optimism.

The Optimistic Hearts of America Campaign is dedicated to inspiration, motivation and education, not only in America but globally as well, about the health benefits of optimism, especially in reducing the risk of death from heart disease and other chronic illnesses.

This Campaign inspires the experience of a powerful ripple effect. In this Campaign, you’ll begin to realize the power of living with an Optimistic Heart, collectively creating a giant network effect (ripple effect) that spans far and wide and touches many. Collectively, we share an incredible group energy, coming together and creating “Optimistic Vibes” and then watch how that powerful energy unfolds daily in our lives, profoundly impacting everyone and everything around us. You will begin to have a greater awareness in your relationships, your work or career will seem more tolerable, and you’ll experience a profound shift in gratitude and prosperity. This collective ripple effect is powerful and the benefits are beyond measure!

DOES RESEARCH SUPPORT THIS CAMPAIGN?

YES! Research in support of Optimism speaks loudly and clearly and is a cornerstone of this campaign! As a woman in midlife, I consciously choose to ride the wave of optimism! This energy is a powerful hidden asset and the health benefits we reap from Optimism help us to live longer and more healthy lives.

I am inspired to help you claim that energy, that power, that new awareness of your hidden asset! Let’s all pay-it-forward as we merge to hear the message. I am inspired to visit your hometown and share the message to anyone who is willing to listen and learn….

I encourage you to take this opportunity to join me as a supporter (no money required…just your willingness to listen and share the good news!) of the “Optimistic Hearts of America” Campaign.

“It is so invigorating, inspiring, captivating, and empowering to witness a room filled with hundreds of Optimistic Women! It’s a sight to behold and a powerful testament to the spirit of this life changing and life saving Campaign!”
